Day 21: Chronicling America

Chronicling America is a site by the Library of Congress which archives America’s historic newspapers from 1789-1925. The site features a massive collection of searchable newspapers and advanced search fields that allow the researcher to narrow down the content the search results return.

This site is fun not just for genealogical research purposes but to see what was making the news on any given date in history.
